Steady Stance (Japanese: 金剛の構え Diamond Stance) is a four-tiered passive type A skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are Steady Stance 1, Steady Stance 2, Steady Stance 3, and Steady Stance 4 in order from lowest to highest. Steady Stance boosts its user's defense during combat when they are attacked; the size of the defense boost increases with the skill's tier, and the fourth tier gains an effect that decelerates the foe's special skill cooldown for each strike. Steady Stance entered the main series in Engage.
