The Forrest (Japanese: フォーレスト Forrest) is an advanced infantry class exclusive to Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. One of the two promoted forms of the Sword Fighter, it is similar to the Hero of most other games, the Myrmidon in Gaiden, and the Mercenary of Thracia 776. It is a counterpart to the Swordmaster, the other promotion for the Myrmidon, featuring on average lesser Skill and Speed than the Swordmaster and a lack of Adept as a class skill in exchange for slightly higher magic.
