For a similar item present in the original Archanea games, see Dragon Whip.
The Elysian Whip (Japanese: 天空のムチ Heavenly Whip) is a class change item introduced in FE6. It is the class change item specifically for the use of base flying classes, specifically the Pegasus Knight and Wyvern Rider; in this respect, it effectively replaces the Skydrake Whip of the early Archanean games. In The Binding Blade and FE7, using an Elysian whip on a member of either class will promote them to Falcoknight and Wyvern Lord respectively, and in The Sacred Stones it also gives both classes the option to promote to Wyvern Knight.
----

The Elysian Whip (天空のムチ, Heavenly Whip) is one of several promotion items in the FES.
The Elysian Whip is also present in the two Nintendo DS remakes, FE11 and New Mystery of the Emblem, as an addition new to the remakes. It once again promotes Pegasus Knights to Falcoknight, whereas using a Master Seal—the game's primary and only other class change item—will instead promote them to Dracoknight, the original promoted form of the Pegasus Knight. Elysian Whips are significantly rarer than Master Seals, and in Shadow Dragon they are available only through the now-defunct online shop.

This item can be used to promote flying units in the GBA games. Also, it is the second -and least common- promotion item in FE11 and FE12. Not present in the original games, this item was added to the inventory; if pegasus knights are promoted with it, they change to Falcon Knights; otherwise, they will become Dracoknights, which was the original promotion for these units.

The elysian whip is available in five games: The Binding Blade, Blazing Sword, The Sacred Stones, Shadow Dragon, and New Mystery of the Emblem.

First game

Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade

The Elysian Whip (Japanese: 天空のムチ Heavenly Whip) is a class change item introduced in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. It is the class change item specifically for the use of base flying classes, specifically the Pegasus Knight and Wyvern Rider; in this respect, it effectively replaces the Skydrake Whip of the early Archanean games. In The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, using an Elysian whip on a member of either class will promote them to Falcoknight and Wyvern Lord respectively, and in The Sacred Stones it also gives both classes the option to promote to Wyvern Knight.

The Elysian Whip is also present in the two Nintendo DS remakes, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem, as an addition new to the remakes.
