Hoshido (pronounced /ˈhoʊʃidoʊ/[key][1]; Japanese: 白夜王国 White Night Kingdom) is a kingdom in Fire Emblem Fates, occupying the eastern half of an unnamed continent opposite of rival kingdom Nohr. Hoshido's peaceful nature contrasts the "glory-seeking" nature of Nohr. It seems to be aesthetically inspired by Japan, like Chon'sin. The primary colors in the kingdom's aesthetics are white and red, contrasting Nohr's black and blue.
All members of the Hoshidan royal family possess the power of Dragon Vein, the ability to alter the environment around them.
