The Villager (村人 / むらびと) class is a "trainee" class appearing in Fire Emblem Gaiden and Kakusei. Characterised as young and inexperienced village boys entering the field of battle for the first time, the class traditionally has low stats in and of itself, but possesses the ability to promote to a wide variety of basic classes which can again promote in turn, allowing for greater potential to increase their stats to higher degrees than a normal unit.
