The Sea Dragon is a class that has never made an official appearance in the Fire Emblem series—Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, the only time it appeared in a game's coding, had the Sea Dragon class go unused. Its moving map sprite resembles a sea serpent in appearance, while its battle sprite is the same as a Fire Dragon. It can move freely in seas like Pirates. Little is known about the class otherwise.
As it is a dragon class, it may have been intended to be usable as a manakete transformation; however, no transformation stone that would allow for such a transformation survives in the game's code, and no breath weapon, existing or otherwise, is known to be associated with the class.
While not coded into the game, a sea dragon boss, known as Neptune, was planned to be featured in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. It was supposed to attack with tornadoes rather than breath, and its attack animation was intended to have it conjure a spell with its hands.[1]
