The Knight Lord (ロードナイト, Lord Knight) is an advanced, mounted lord-type class. It is the final class of Serlis of Seisen no Keifu and Eliwood of Blazing Sword, and is the initial class of Sigurd, Serlis's father. Wielding swords and lances, the class is very similar to the Paladin.

In Seisen no Keifu, the Knight Lord promotes from Junior Lord under the usual circumstances for the game; it is not a story-driven event and can be done at any time once Serlis reaches Level 20. In Blazing Sword, it promotes from Eliwood's Lord variant, the circumstances of which depend on the story mode in question; in Eliwood's story mode, the promotion is an automatic event at the end of Chapter 27; in Hector's story mode, the Heaven seal promotion item can be used at any time under the usual promotion circumstances.

Trivia

  • In Blazing Sword, the Knight Lord has a unique battle animation when wielding the Durandal. In leaked prototype builds of Blazing Sword, this animation is significantly different from that of the finished product, sporting a much shorter blade.
