Horsemen (ホースメン, Horsemen) are a bow- and sword-wielding class present only in the Archanea games, first appearing in Template:FEARHT. Similar classes are the nomadic troopers in Elibe and rangers in Magvel.

In Template:FEARHT and Template:FEMN, they only used bows. Swords were added in the remakes of those games. This addition gives them the ability to attack adjacent units; in the original games, they were locked to attacking from a distance.

In Template:FEARHT, horsemen are a basic class and cannot be promoted. Starting with Template:FEMN, they are the only possible promotion for hunters, and in Template:FEMN they become hunters when forced to dismount.
