Daein is a country located in northeastern Tellius, the continent that Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn took place on. Daein was ruled by Asnard in Path of Radiance until he was killed by Ike. During Radiant Dawn, Daein is controlled by Begnion which treats them almost inhumane. During the beginning of Radiant Dawn the player plays as a small group of people called the [[Dawn Brigade]] as they fight to make Daein an independant country again.
