Welcome to Fire Emblem Wiki!

Please take some time to look around and get accustomed before you start editing. For quick reference, you can check our about page. If you need an idea of where to start, try looking through our stub pages. Feel free to take a look at our community page and/or our Discord server as well. If you run into any difficulties, feel free to check out our help page, or ask a member of staff. Again, we welcome you here to Fire Emblem Wiki, and we hope you have a nice time.

Editing

While I appreciate your want to help with Fire Emblem Wiki, me and a few staff members would like to bring it to your attention that your writing skills you use to write these articles are a bit poor. We're not trying to discourage you, but we have high standards and we don't want to look unprofessional to other wikis.

We want to help you improve. And improvement comes over time. So if you would please message one of our Administrators for assistance or ask any of them to add you into our Skype chat, please do so. This will help Fire Emblem Wiki and yourself better in the long run.

For now I suggest that you look at our Article Quality Standards right now so you know what we are exactly looking for.

Thanks for taking the time reading this!

Hello, Giant X! I'm Seritinajii, an admin here and I wanted to give you some editing tips. We really appreciate your help, but there are a few ways to get better:
  • Try not to use HTML tags; they aren't really necessary on a wiki. It's better to use wiki markup. Except for <br>, which I think is alright.
    • Use ==Heading== instead of <h2>Heading</h2>. Same goes for smaller headings - for those, use ===small heading===, ====smaller====, etc.
    • <p> tags are entirely unnecessary, so just omit them. But remember that to create a new paragraph, skip lines!
  • Use the other weapon and class pages for reference when creating them. For example, see Iron Sword for a good weapon page, and something like Axe Knight for a good FE9-10 class page. Try to conform to the section guidelines and stuff - we're trying to keep things consistent. Additionally, you can see the Project Classes page for class page standards. Currently there is no Project:Weapons, but I'm sure it'll come about soon.
  • Lastly, get a Skype!! The Skype chat is rather interesting to be in. And helpful. Yeah.

Thanks for reading this message! And thanks for your edits! Seritinajii 09:31, 18 September 2011 (EDT)
