Blue Duel Flying (Japanese: 青の死闘・飛行 Blue Mortal Combat・Flying) is a four-tiered passive type A skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as B Duel Flying 1, B Duel Flying 2, B Duel Flying 3, and B Duel Flying 4 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a B Duel Flying skill grants its user a boost to their HP no matter the situation with the fourth tier adding a boost in the user's other stats, but an additional effect activates upon the user reaching level 40 at five-star rarity--should the sum of their stats be less than a certain threshold not factoring in merges and other skills, the game will treat their stats as if it were at that threshold in modes such as the Arena, thus allowing higher-scoring opponents to appear; both the HP boost and the stat threshold increase with the skill's tier, with the fourth tier granting a larger boost in the latter to those not termed Legendary or Mythic Heroes.

Trivia

• This skill is the first one in the Duel family not associated with a general of Múspell, much less a character original to Heroes.
  • It is also the first skill of the Duel family to become associated with a second wielder, in this case a Heroes original; at this point, the Duel family was not even half-complete, with only seven of the sixteen anticipated skills to comprise the family already part of the game at this point.
  • It is also one of the first two skills of the Duel family to gain fourth-tiers (along with R Duel Infantry), in conjuction with becoming the first skill of the family to become associated with a third wielder; at this point, there had been no further progress toward completing the Duel family (still only seven skills strong out sixteen anticipated).
