The Bard class (バード, Baado) is a class first appearing in Template:FESK and Template:T776. In those games, the Bard class uses Fire, Thunder, Wind, and Light magic and can be promoted to the Sage class. However, in Template:FEFT and Template:FERK, they are able to play music to refresh party members, giving them another chance to move. There are no enemy bards; all bards are allies.

In the Jugdral games (Seisen no Keifu and Thracia 776) they are very capable of fighting, but because of their low physical defense, they should be kept away from the front lines. In the Elibe games (Fuuin no Tsurugi and Blazing Sword) bards have no attacking capabilities, so they should be kept away from the front lines.

In Jugdral, bards change class to sages; in Elibe, they do not change class.

A similar class to the later form of the Bard class is the Dancer class.
