Ale is a provision item that debuted in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Ale can offered up at a Mila Shrine to restore the fatigue of the party offering it by 10 points and restore Mila's Turnwheel uses.

It has unused functionality in that could, at some point in development, only be used by characters twenty years of age or older. In the final release in all versions of the game it cannot be consumed by any unit. If it were to be used by a unit it would have restored 10 HP.

Based on the unused HP-restoring functionality as well as the help text and intended effect of the Leftover Ale, the Ale may have been intended to not be fully consumed when used, but leave the aformentioned Leftover Ale in its place in a similar fashion to how Bread leaves Leftover Bread.
