(Japanese: ガーディアン Guardian, or しゅごしん Guardian God) is a class that has never made an official appearance in the Fire Emblem series--Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, the only time it appeared in a game's coding, had the Guardian class go unused. It looks like a General with gray armor, and its map sprite depicts it wielding a lance. However, it cannot actually use lances or any currently known weapon.

Trivia

  • The Guardian is unusual in that it actually has two completely different name strings from each other between the status and battle screens. Some other classes with long names take advantage of this to abbreviate them for the battle screen, but the Guardian's two names do not resemble each other at all.
