The (Japanese: ガーディアン Guardian or しゅごしん Tutelary Deity) is a class that has never made an official appearance in the Fire Emblem series--Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, the only time it appeared in a game's coding, had the Guardian class go unused. It looks like a general with gray armor, and its map sprite depicts it wielding a lance. However, it cannot actually use lances.
