The Knight Proof (Japanese: ナイトプルフ Knight Proof) is the sole class change item used in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. Identical in function to the Master Seal of later games, it is used to promote every basic class and unit capable of doing so, with the exceptions of Leif and Linoan, both of whom promote through set story events. A total of fifteen Knight Proofs are available in the course of the game, not counting the virtually infinite supply available in the Chapter 22 shop.

Trivia
- The Master Seal itself appears unused and without functionality in the code of Thracia 776. Its unused sprite in Thracia 776 was used as the basis for the Master Seal's icon in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn.
