Proposing a template

Hey guys, i'm new here...so i'm not sure how you guys want your template's styled. I see you are using pretty simple borders, white background and black text for infoboxes. But what about navigation templates? do you guys want them? if so, do you know what style you want them? if not, i can generate a list of template I've seen/helped out on, and you can tell me which you like. Well I don't care. We could use some sort of system for the vast amounts of weapons in the games. Yusei 21:36, 11 September 2010 (MDT)
You don't care as in: You don't want them at all? or you don't care how they are styled? Tacopill 08:26, 12 September 2010 (MDT).
I don't mind how they are styled as long as they fit with the rest. Yusei 08:41, 12 September 2010 (MDT)
Ok, being I've never played any Fire Emblem before, this is probably going to seem obvious to you. But i will ask anyway....How integrated are the games. For example, if the character list isn't integrated at all, then modeling after this template maybe useful. if, however, they are fully intergrated, then this template maybe more useful. They look pretty nice to me. So about the question about the games - the games are set in separate places and continents. Fire Emblem 1-3, an set of extra maps, & 11 (Ankoku Ryuu, Gaiden, Monsho no Nazo, Akaneia Senki, and Shadow Dragon (a remake of FE1)) take place in a continent called Akaneia, except for Gaiden, which is in Barensia, but has been confirmed to be in the same universe, FE4 and 5 (Seisen no Keifu, Thracia 776) take place in Jugdral, FE6 and 7 (Fuuin no Tsurugi, "Fire Emblem") are in Elibe, FE8 (Sacred Stones) is on its own in Magvel, and FE9 and 10 are in Tellius. Every continent is completely unrelated, and may or may not take place in separate universes.

So this means each continent has its own set of characters and locations and stuff, although a lot of other things like game mechanics and weapons are in multiple games. Plus there are tons and tons of characters (all with different names! almost), usually at least twenty in one game. So we'd probably have to make different character and location templates for each universe or game.

There are exactly two characters who overlap the universes, Jake and Anna, two random married unimportant NPC characters who appear sporadically, except for Anna, who's in almost every game as a woman who says game functions (such as when suspending the game, when deleting a file, link cable arena, etc.). They could imply that the continents are in the same universe, since Jake is recruitable in one game and his ending says that he and his wife dream of traveling to distant lands.

So you wouldn't mind if we used them here, would you? The color schemes would may be altered, and of course the content altered for Fire Emblem. If so, then where should we give credit? Seritinajii 20:03, 12 September 2010 (MDT)
