Rod

The rod (Japanese: 祓串 haraegushi) is a type of magical weapon in the Fire Emblem series, first appearing in Fire Emblem Fates. Rods are the Hoshido-based counterpart to the staves of other realms in the series, share the same weapon rank as staves, and can be used just as easily by Nohr units who can use staves.

The main healing rods appear to be themed around seasonal celebrations, while the main non-healing rods appear to be themed around disasters or other misfortune. Uniquely, healing rods tend to have higher range than their staff equivalents, with even ordinary rods having 1-2 range.
