Dancing Blade (Japanese: 柔剣 Gentle Blade), known as Flashing Blade in Heroes, is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. In Fates, it is a class skill associated with the Lodestar class. It grants a sizable boost to the user's speed at the slight cost of a point of defense.
In Heroes, the individual tiers of the skill are known as Flashing Blade 1, Flashing Blade 2, and Flashing Blade 3 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Flashing Blade skill, if faster than their target, accelerate the cooldown for their special skills with each strike they make; the Speed threshold required for activation is affected by the skill's tier.
