Bold Stance (Japanese: 攻防一体の陣 Attack and Guard Stance) is an enemy-only combat skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. While it is taught by the Bold Stance skill item, said item cannot be obtained by any legitimate means. It allows its user to combine the separate effects of Pair Up and Tag Team when they are paired up, giving their support partner the ability to trigger both Dual Strikes and Dual Guards and effectively restoring the system to how it was in Awakening. However, Bold Stance will not prevent the user's enemies from triggering Dual Strikes of their own, cutting this ability from the ordinary Pair Up state.
