Alear (Japanese: リュール Lueur) is the main protagonist of Fire Emblem Engage. They are the child of Lumière, a divine dragon.
Biography
1,000 years before the events of Engage, Alear, a divine dragon, helped seal away the Fell Dragon before falling into a deep sleep. They wake up after 1,000 years to find the seal on the Fell Dragon weakening, with its reawakening imminent. Alear has amnesia.

Alear is the main character of Engage.
Trivia
- Alear has complete heterochromia; with the male version having a red right eye and a blue left eye, and vice versa for the female version. They were preceded by Idunn, Ranulf, and Peri. Alear and Idunn are both divine dragons that possess this trait.
- Alear is the first such character to not have one green-colored eye.
