Crossroads (Japanese: クロスローズ Crossroads) is the tenth booster series released for Fire Emblem Cipher. It primarily features characters from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, Fire Emblem Fates, and Fire Emblem Heroes, and introducing new Cipher mascots Alice and Valjean into the cardpool. This series was released on September 21st, 2017 in Japan. The retail price for individual booster packs is ¥350 plus tax.
This booster series is part of season 3, and will no longer be legal in competitive play sometime in mid-2021.
As with all of Cipher, the cards featured here has been printed only in Japanese and have only been released in Japan.
Overview
This booster series features a somewhat odd division. The first half, consisting of cards 1-50 and largely denoted with , focus primarily on characters from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, also including one colorless card featuring new Cipher mascot Valjean. The next roughly three-eighths, consisting of cards 51-86, feature an intermixture of and denotations focusing primarily on characters from Fire Emblem Fates, with the two Fates denotations sprinkled throughout this portion of the set although is more prevalent toward card 51 while is more prevalent toward card 86; there are also a number of cards in this portion of the set as well as card 99 featuring new Cipher mascot Alice, marked with both denotation symbols, marking the first Cipher cards to bear two denotation symbols. The final roughly eighth, consisting of cards 87-100, focus primarily on characters from Fire Emblem Heroes; these cards are colorless and do not bear a denotation symbol, with these cards as well as card 50 (the aforementioned colorless Valjean card), being the first Cipher cards to not bear a denotation symbol.
