Echidna: Difference between revisions

Depending on the village you visit in [[The Misty Isles|Chapter 9]], you will get access to the path where you get either Echidna or Bartre. Bartre is overall bulkier thanks to his higher HP, luck and defense, along with being stronger with a high 22 defense. Because of his high constitution he can use heavy weapons without losing speed, while still being light enough to be rescued by units like Shanna, and has access to bows which are useful for dealing with numerous dangerous enemy flyers. Unlike Bartre, Echidna has very high speed and skill which allow her to double and hit enemies constantly, which is fairly rare in ''The Binding Blade''. Most importantly Echidna has access to swords which are a much better weapon type than axes and bows, along with a high enough weapon level to use powerful ones such as killing edges, making her a much better boss-killer and her overall combat much more consistent.
