Wyvern heads, in the GBA games, are different for each class of rider. [Wyvern Rider|Wyvern rider] and  [Wyvern Lord|Wyvern lord] wyverns differ from [Wyvern Kn.|Wyvern kn.] in that the heads of the later appear to have fangs, while the former do not. Wyverns do not have arms, only wings and their back legs, which they land on.

Wyverns are then mounts of Wyvern Riders and Wyvern Lords. In Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem they were use by Dracoknights, but in the latter it was also revealed that Wyverns are a tribe of dragons from Dolhr.
