As my subject line suggests, I have an idea for how Kana's stat growths may be determined. Before taking class into account, Kana's base growths are: 30% in HP; 35% in Strength; 30% for Magic; 40% for Skill; 45% for Speed; 45% for Luck; 25% for Defense; and 25% for Resistance. That's known already. I think Kana also has a boon/bane system like Corrin, but flipped around. For example, if Corrin selects Quick (Speed Boon) and Fragile (Defense Bane), Kana gets Sturdy (Defense Boon) and Slow (Speed Bane) and his/her growths are altered accordingly. I believe the bane and boon growth, cap modifiers, and base modifiers to work the same for Kana as they do for Corrin. After boon and bane have been applied, Inheritance takes hold. Kana's final growth rates, like those of any child unit, are thus determined by averaging his/her growth in each stat (after boon/bane) and the growths of his/her non-Corrin parent. As a result of the stat growths being determined, I don't really understand why the uncreated subpages for Kana's stats differentiate by Kana's gender, unless those pages are meant to go into the resulting growth changes brought about by each possible non-Corrin parent. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Cursed Umbreon (talk) 06:53, 27 August 2017 (UTC)

: Serenes Forest has already figured it out.  The growth rates are determined by ((Variable parent’s growth rates + Kana’s growth rates) / 2), while Kana's stat modifiers are determined by (Corrin's modifiers + spouse's modifiers +1) (the +1 is not applied should the spouse be a second-gen unit).  The two pages for Kana is probably meant to help visitors by simplifying it to the gender they wish to view, as the non-Corrin parent does make a big impact.  The two Kanas are also treated as different units in the game itself unlike Corrin. Male and Female

Can we add a random generator to switch between both Kana versions here so people know there are male and female versions? Or do we stack both of their sprites on top of one another?? -- Izagar  (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 19:45, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

Ummm the page already has a random selector for both portraits in the stat boxes and the official art in the infobox though? (there just isn't any OA to put there yet) Or are you asking something else? Sorry if I misunderstood.L95 (talk) 20:05, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
Oh I see it now. My bad. But I think I will edit the infobox with them since it's still showing a blank link to an image. Thanks though. -- Izagar  (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 20:08, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

Theory for Kana's Stats

Serenes Forest has already figured it out.[1] The growth rates are determined by ((Variable parent’s growth rates + Kana’s growth rates) / 2), while Kana's stat modifiers are determined by (Corrin's modifiers + spouse's modifiers +1) (the +1 is not applied should the spouse be a second-gen unit). The two pages for Kana is probably meant to help visitors by simplifying it to the gender they wish to view, as the non-Corrin parent does make a big impact. The two Kanas are also treated as different units in the game itself unlike Corrin. Fastesthe1 (talk) 01:35, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
