Shelter (Japanese: 救出 Rescue) is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. Associated with the Cavalier class, the Shelter skill is a callback to the Rescue mechanic from earlier games of the series. To that end, the Shelter skill allows the user to, on command, take one adjacent ally of their choice and make them the support unit within the Pair Up mechanic, the opposite order to how Pair Ups normally start.
