Oifey is a prepromoted Paladin that joins in Chapter 6. Oifey is the strongest unit when he joins due to his bases, excellent class, high sword and lance levels, and powerful [[Follow-Up]] and [[Critical (skill)|Critical]] skills. His only real flaw at base is his weak weaponry, though he can quickly buy better weapons and he can still get some kills through Critical. However, Oifey will have a hard time keeping up with the kids of generation 2 as he cannot wield Holy weapons, and his growths are worse than theirs. Another aspect worth noting is how Oifey will not be able to contribute much in the first two chapters on faster playthroughs, where [[Seliph]] is the only unit to enter combat in order to maximize his [[experience]] gain and promote him as quickly as possible, lowering Oifey's overall usefulness.
