This is the prologue to The Sacred Stones after Eirika must dramatically leave Renais, and her father King Fado behind as the palace is over run with Grado troops. Eirika and Seth encounter bandits as they approach the Border Mulan after escaping the palace and general Valter's lance, who wounds Seth leaving him with 13 HP.
