Fire Emblem Cipher/Land of the Gods Chapter

Land of the Gods Chapter (Japanese: 神々の大地篇 Land of the Gods Chapter) is the ninth starter deck released for Fire Emblem Cipher. It primarily features characters from Fire Emblem Gaiden and its remake, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. This deck was released aside the Thunderous Earth booster series on June 22nd, 2017 in Japan. Its retail price is ¥1,300 plus tax.

This starter deck is part of season 3, and will no longer be legal in competitive play sometime in mid-2021.

As with all of Cipher, the cards featured here has been printed only in Japanese and have only been released in Japan.

Overview

This starter deck exclusively features characters of the affiliation. Five of these cards are exclusive to this deck and cannot be pulled from booster packs. These completely exclusive cards have "S09" at the start of their card number.

This starter deck includes a download code for four accessory items in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, each themed to one of the four Cipher mascots that had been introduced at the point of this starter deck's release. The items are as follows: Hard Worker's Ribbon, themed to Emma; Black Crescent Moon, themed to Shade; Warrior's Warding Bell, themed to Yuzu; Vagabond's Hairclip, themed to Randal. This download code is region-locked, and only unlocks the items for the Japanese version of Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, these items have not been made available in international releases through any methods.

Also included are an instruction manual and paper playmat.

Trivia

• This is the last starter deck to have an MSRP of 1,300 yen; subsequent starter decks would increase its MSRP to 1,480 yen.
