Larcei (Japanese: ラクチェ Lakche) is a princess of Isaach, the cousin of Crown Prince Shannan and one of the twin children of the presumed late Princess Ayra. Born during Ayra's travels with Sigurd of Chalphy, at age two she was escorted into hiding by Oifey and his elder cousin Shannan, along with her twin brother Scáthach and Sigurd's son Seliph. Seventeen years later, she was part of the beginning of Seliph's revolution against the tyranny of the Grannvale Empire.
In the gameplay of Genealogy of the Holy War, if Ayra was not married in the course of the first generation, Larcei's role is filled by Creidne.
Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
Role
When Scáthach brought news back to Tirnanog of the occupying Dozel army's imminent march on the town, Larcei was strongly in favor of marching out to fight back despite the absence of Shannan and Oifey. Despite Scáthach's misgivings, Seliph opted to do so, starting his revolution.

Unit performance
Larcei is a level 1 Myrmidon available from the beginning of the second generation. Regardless of who her father is, she inherits minor Od Holy Blood, increasing her skill and HP growth rates. She also has Astra, Follow-Up and Nihil as her baseline skillset - a strong offensive setup. Thanks to these advantages, Larcei is 'immune to bad pairings.' No matter who her father is, she will be competent at combat.
Unfortunately, Larcei is one of the many victims of Genealogy 's map design. The game strongly favors mounted units, since every map is very large and contains road tiles. Road tiles boost the movement of units moving across them. Since cavalry has higher movement, it benefits more, leaving unmounted units behind. Larcei falls behind the mounted frontline on every map except the one she joins in. The only reason she does not fall behind in her joining chapter is because Seliph, the lord, is unmounted, too. As soon as Seliph promotes, however, Larcei will see much less use. Not only because the lord is promoted, but because the player gains access to more mounted units. Personality and character
Larcei is headstrong and courageous, willing to risk her life in battle. She dedicates herself to improving her swordplay, often sparring with fellow members of Seliph's army. She is interested in fighting Shannan, whom she respects as a great warrior and the wielder of the legendary sword Balmung. Larcei compares herself to him frequently—to her, if she can defeat him, then she is a good fighter, but if she cannot, then she is inferior.[2][3]
Larcei dislikes being treated like a child despite her young age. She believes in her abilities as a sword fighter and wants to fight people to prove herself.[4][5] She is determined and resolute, always willing to improve; she finds it necessary to keep proving her worth, because otherwise people will not allow her to fight in Seliph's army.[6]
Larcei used to wish for a legendary weapon like Balmung, but upon understanding the responsibilities that come with it, her dreams of wielding such a sword subsided.[7] Larcei, while stubborn, will accept life lessons and grow more mature.
Larcei has insecurities about feeling needed.[8] She hates being unwanted, and experiences longing toward her mother, believing she is still alive.[9] Aside from improving her swordplay, Larcei aims to help Seliph and Shannan bring Isaach back to how it should be.[10] The reason Larcei learned how to use a sword, other than wanting to follow Ayra's footsteps, was to make sure she could help Seliph and Shannan liberate Isaach and restore the old order.
Love growths and events
|

- In Chapter 7, Larcei can talk to Shannan at any time, granting Larcei +2 Strength and both of them 100 love points with each other.
- In Chapter 7, if Finn was Larcei's father, he can talk to Larcei at any time after Darna has been conquered, granting her +5 Skill.
- In the Final Chapter, if they are lovers, Larcei can talk to Seliph, Iuchar, Iucharba or Shannan after Dozel has been seized, giving them +3 Strength.
