Zanth (Japanese: ザッハ Zahha) is a leader of a group of dread pirates, the so-called Southron Sea King, and the boss of paralogue 18 of Fire Emblem Awakening. Zanth and his band defend an area on the southern side of an island off the west coast of Plegia, and have been known to raze most of the villages and kill hundreds of people. Among Zanth's band is the country's former king, Gangrel. Convinced Chrom and the Shepherds are out for their blood, Zanth calls his band into action. Zanth ends up underestimating the Shepherds, as he ends up defeated by them.
