Numerous pieces of unused content have been found within the game data of Fire Emblem Engage. (Work in Progress)

NPC Characters
Ève and Seforia have unused map data consisting of battle animations and base stats, though they both lack models on the battle map and sprites. Ève is more complete in that she has combat, critical hit, and victory dialogue while Seforia lacks any battle dialogue at all. Furthermore, Ève is defined as a High Priest with proficiencies in staves while Seforia is a Wyvern Knight with proficiencies in lances. Morion also has full combat, critical hit, and victory dialogue that is different from his Corrupted self seen in Chapter 10. Oddly, Morion's map portrait has him in the same position as his Corrupted self. Hyacinth as an NPC strangely has two innate proficiencies, both in Arts and Staves. Though Ève, Morion, Hyacinth, and Seforia all have base stats, they lack growth rates and stat caps.
- Main article: Ève: The kind queen of Firene. A gentle soul who wishes for a world without strife or conflict.
- Main article: Morion: The brave king of Brodia. A powerful and proud warrior, he prizes honor on the battlefield.
- Main article: Hyacinth
- Main article: Seforia: The free-spirited queen of Solm. Leads her country by example with heroic acts.
Antagonist Characters
Unlike most other enemies which have their stats based on their class, level scaling, and stat offsets, certain units such as Zephia, Griss, Marni, Past Alear, and Corrupted Lumera have their own stat growths which are used in calculating their stats. As a side note, the stat growths and stat caps of Zephia and Griss are identical to Zelestia and Gregory respectively. Marni and Past Alear have small differences compared to their counterparts, namely in Dexterity and Strength respectively. The enemy Royals in the Fell Xenologue also share growths with their respective main would counterparts (ex: Corrupted Alfred has the same growths as Alfred).

Furthermore some fabircations in Divine Paralogues have their own growths, namely the fabrication Lance Armor and Thief representing Oswin and Matthew in The Brash General and the fabrication Bow Knight and Wyvern Knight representing Selena and Beruka in The Doting Sister.

Elemental Attacks
There exists six different elemental attributes in the game's data that are assigned to various weapons. These consist of Fire, Thunder, Wind, Ice, Light, and Dark. While only the Fire, Thunder, and Wind elements have practical gameplay use, like with Anima Focus, the Light and Dark elements are given to select weapons without any gameplay effect and no weapon is ever given the Ice weapon attribute. Strangely enough, light themed weapons have the Dark element associated with them and dark themed weapons have the Light element associated with them.
Fire, Thunder and Wind are included for the purpose of comparison:
- Fire: Fire (tome), Elfire, Bolganone, Meteor, Ragnarok, Soren's first strike during Cataclysm
- Thunder: Thunder (tome), Elthunder, Thoron, Bolting, Soren's second strike during Cataclysm
- Wind: Wind (tome), Elwind, Excalibur, Rexcalibur, Soren's third strike during Cataclysm
- Ice: N/A
- Light: Obscurité, Élivágar
- Dark: Seraphim, Shine, Nosferatu, Thani, Lightning

Character Ages
When certain units make meals in the Somniel, they sometimes grant additional stat bonuses to units based on whether they are "younger" or "older." In a similar mannerism to Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, almost all playable characters have an unseen age stat, save Nil and Nel. In Engage, a unit's age is used to check if they are classified as young or old with the threshold for older being 20 years and above. In general, only playable characters have ages, but a select few NPCs/enemies also have ages for unknown reasons. Furthermore, Alear and Veyle's ages are defined as 17 and 16 respectively despite them technically being over 500 years old.

イルバリア (Nil Barrier)

In the script for the chapter Seven Bracelets, Nil is given the skill Sigil Protection at the start of the map and then has it taken away when he arrives at the northernmost sigil. Commented out in the code, however, exists the assignment of a skill called "イルバリア" that would have been given and taken away at the same times as Sigil Protection. It's name is similar to the internal name of Fell Barrier which is "Sombre Barrier".
