Romanization

So why are we Romanizing his name as "Cullum"? "Cullum" isn't an actual given name (a quick Google search turns up only rare surname use), and isn't a valid or logical Romanization of カラム, which is almost certainly "Calum" or "Kellam", actual names. I've noticed that it's proving pretty common among fansites, but it doesn't make much sense. Is there any official basis for this? In taking a look at the character's page on the Awakening website, I've found no hints at any sort of "official" Romanization in anything related to it, so I'm not seeing an official basis for "Cullum". It's not that big a deal, but...--PerplexingArticulator 05:44, 17 March 2012 (EDT)

We are currently using the names that Serenes Forest uses. As they are one of the largest, if not the largest, Fire Emblem fan site, they have commonly used romanizations for Japanese-only names, as that is what this is currently. I do find that kind of weird though, but I do not think changing it is a good idea. We will most likely get a European name in a few months anyways. Super (duh...)Alpaca 18:07, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
Since there is a translation on the works (and an official one, to boot), we'll keep this character as Cullum, due to the reasons given by SuperAlpaca. However, I'll make redirects for Calum and Kellam. ~ Aria der Donau 21:31, 19 March 2012 (EDT)
I went ahead and moved it to Kellam. Since it can be seen that Serenes Forest uses this name [1] (don't know when it changed or if it was ever Cullum) and that was the only reasoning for displaying it as Cullum, I felt we should continue to follow that philosophy.
