Talk:Gameplay modes

From Fire Emblem Wiki, your source on Fire Emblem information. By fans, for fans.

Shouldn`t the difficulty mode labelled as "Difficult" be renamed to "Hard"?

I noticed that a few of the Fire Emblem games on this page have a difficulty mode labelled "Difficult" but I`m pretty sure that they are referred to as "Hard" on the difficulty selection screen for these games. Mr. Kite (talk) 05:13, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

You mind specifying which ones? I know for sure (and as a random example) that The Sacred Stones uses "difficult" but most people often call it "hard" anyway. -L95 (talk) 14:03, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

Reorganizing this & Difficulty

I feel that the section on Thracia's Elite Mode should be moved to Difficulty since it's (almost) identical to Gaiden's Easy Mode; and that the bulk of that page's section on "Clever" AI from Genealogy should be moved to this page, while leaving a reference there, since it is so distinct from any other Hard Mode in the series in both presentation and effect. Does anyone have an opinion on this one? MTFF1 (talk) 01:00, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

I'm inclined to agree on Elite Mode. I disagree, however, on moving Clever AI; though it is unlike any other difficulty mode, it is more akin to a difficulty mode than a general gameplay mode.
Also, unrelated, but you can use {{'}} rather than zero-width spaces to separate an apostrophe for text from one for formatting. — Thecornerman (talk) 15:41, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
