NTSC-J to NTSC-U changes

  • Cordelia's insecurity over her small breasts was written out in the localization, with the exception of Summer Scramble.

Gameplay changes

  • The ability to, when creating a new avatar, make them completely mute was cut. Such an avatar would play no voice clips and have no lines of dialogue at all in the entire game, with the rest of the script slightly altered to accommodate for their lack of input.

The NTSC version of the game covers up part of Tharja's swimsuit illustration with a curtain in Summer Scramble to censor its skimpiness; the PAL edition kept it uncensored.

NTSC-U to PAL changes

Unless otherwise stated, all changes made between the NTSC-J and NTSC-U releases are retained in the PAL version, excluding names.

Dialogue changes

This section has been marked as a stub. Please help improve the page by adding information.

  • The cutscene of Chapter 3 was renamed from "Lovebirds" in the NTSC-U version to "The Rescue" in the PAL version in order to avoid making Sumia the canonical wife of Chrom.
  • In Harvest Scramble, a conversation between Tharja and Nowi was altered in the PAL release, changing the topic from Tharja's "boingy bits" to her hair.
  • In the NTSC-U release of the Hot-Spring Scramble DLC episode, Nah mentions a "true dragonstone" in her conversation with Kjelle,[1] which is the name of the Dragonstone+ in the Japanese version. This is presumably an oversight by the localization team, and was corrected in the PAL version of the DLC to explicitly name the Dragonstone+.
  • Several dialogue texts contains errors made in the PAL version that were not in NTSC-U version, although in one case, the PAL version actually corrected one error from the NTSC-U version.

I've got some crates to move!"

Donnel:
"**ahem*!* All right, I get ya."
Donnel and Kjelle's B-support conversation The asterisks are haphazardly placed. The text is "*Ahem!* All right, I get ya." instead. Mistake present. Same as US text.
