Wo Dao

From the Mandarin Chinese 倭刀 wōdāo, "sword of the wo (Japanese) people". The wōdāo is a Ming dynasty-era sword, with a long and slender blade, which is believed to have been developed by taking inspiration on the Japanese longswords encountered in skirmishes between Chinese armies and Japanese brigands.
