Trivia

  • If one counts the War Monk and War Cleric as a single class, then they have a unique weapon combination. No other class, excepting classes which use all weapon types like Baron and Master Knight, wields both axes and staves.
  • In Awakening, enemy War Monks can potentially have the Resistance +2 skill. That skill is not typically legal on a War Monk (the male version of its class), as Resistance +2 is the innate skill of the female-only Troubadour class (Troubadours may, however, promote into War Clerics, the female side of the axe-staff class). The only cases where a War Monk with Resistance +2 is definitely legal are in the case of the child characters Owain, Laurent, Brady, Gerome, and male Morgan, provided they inherited Resistance +2 from their mothers, as well as the bonus unit Boey (who gets Resistance +2 as a personal skill).
