The Sword Fighter (Japanese: ソードファイター Sword Fighter) is a sword-wielding base class present in the Fire Emblem series. It is present only in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, Thracia 776 and Engage, and is a counterpart to the Mercenary and Myrmidon classes from other games.

Sword Fighters can promote to Swordmasters in all their appearances. In addition, depending on the game, they can promote to an alternate class: Forrest in Genealogy of the Holy War, Mercenary in Thracia 776, and Hero in Engage.

In Jugdral, the Sword Fighter is strongly associated with the country of Isaach.
