First game

Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem

The Shadowstone (Japanese: あんこく竜石 Dark Dragonstone) is a type of dragonstone that has never made an official appearance in any game in the Fire Emblem seriesFire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, the only time it appeared in a game's coding, had the Shadowstone unfinished and unused.

It was intended to be created and primarily used by Manaketes of the Shadow Dragon clans. The Shadowstone's attack, Dark Breath, survived development and was utilized as the attack of non-manakete Dark Dragons, but the non-use of the Shadowstone kept the attack inaccessible to the player. The Shadowstone does not allow the player to attack using Dark Breath if the Shadowstone is hacked in and used by Tiki.
