The Quincrane (Japanese: クインクレイン Quincrane) is an armored class that exclusively appears in TearRing Saga: Yutona Heroes War Chronicles. As its name implies, the class exclusively wields the Quincrane bow and cannot use any other weapon types. As a result, the Quincrane can attack at 3–7 range with a high might weapon that deals bonus damage to Flying units, however it has fairly low base stats and has zero movement.

Among playable characters, the Quincrane is exclusively accessed when a Wood Shooter equips the quincrane weapon, which causes them to transform into the class for rest of the map. Once the map is finished, the Quincrane user will revert back to being a Wood Shooter.

Enemy Quincranes will instead start out as the class.

It is succeeded by Ballista Soldier in TearRing Saga Series: Berwick Saga and the Ballista class in Vestaria Saga I: War of the Scions.

Trivia

  • Quincrane can gain no movement levels, even if a unit in the class had movement growth or if Movement Plus is used on one. If a Quincrane is given movement with a cheat device and makes a move command, the game will freeze.
  • Whilst most Quincrane users resemble Archers in their battle sprites, Thomas and Hagar instead resemble Bow Fighters.
