Liprica

(Japanese: リプリカ Liprica) was, in Fire Emblem Gaiden, the queen of Zofia,[1] in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, she is one of the king's multiple lovers.[2] She was a priestess of Mila[3] before she was forcibly married to Lima IV, the king of Zofia.[1] She died shortly after giving birth to Celica from an illness she supposedly contracted after the stress of participating in the royal court.[4]
Biography
Years before the Zofia-Rigel war Liprica was a priestess at the temple of Mila. Some time later the king of Zofia, Lima IV saw her and fell in love with her. She apparently did not return his feelings, as of the priestesses at the temple mentions that the marriage was a forced one. After marrying the king Liprica became ill, possibly from stress of the royal court. Shortly after having Celica she succumbed to her illness. Some time during all of this she left a royal circlet at Mila's temple for her daughter.
Fire Emblem Gaiden
Role
Liprica is a background character that died before the events of the game, so her role is fairly minimal. Though her tragic story is an example of the political corruption that plagued Zofia before the war with Rigel.
She does provide a royal family circlet to the priestess of the temple, which one of the priestesses gives to Celica allowing her to promote.

Personality and character
Not much is known about Liprica, but she seemed to have loved Celica very much, even if she was not in love with her husband.
