Hwahahaha! So that's where you were hidin', ghosts of the Archanean army. Why don't you jus' give up? I'll spare your sorry lives if you submit to us.
— Gouber, in New Mystery of the Emblem.

Gouber (Japanese: グーベル Gouber) is a Dolhrian general in charge of besieging the Archanean palace and the boss of episode 1 of Fire Emblem: Archanea Saga and its remake in New Mystery of the Emblem's New Archanea Saga bonus chapters. During the early part of the War of Shadows, Gouber was tasked with besieging the Archanean palace and taking its princess captive. Although Dolhr did ultimately succeed in besieging the palace, Gouber ended up defeated by a group of Archanean knights out to protect their princess, and the princess was ultimately able to escape.
