Glowing Ember (Japanese: 蛍火 Firefly light) is a special skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes. Glowing Ember allows the user to deal additonal damage to the target based on a large percentage of their own Defense. Glowing Ember can be considered a weaker variation of two other special skills, one being Bonfire having the same effect but faster cooldown, the other being Ignis having the same cooldown but a stronger effect.
Glowing Ember was later introduced into the main series in Three Houses, where it is a combat art. It retains its effect of boosting damage based on the user's defense.
