Galdrar (Japanese: 呪歌謡い Galdrar), previously called Canto (Japanese: 再行動 Act Again), is a skill exclusive to the heron laguz of the Tellius duology. Acting as a direct analog to the Dance skill of other games, it allows the three herons—Reyson, Rafiel and Leanne—to use their galdrar, their tribe's magic chants. Their primary utility in both games is to refresh allied units who have already moved and thus allow them another turn of combat. In Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Galdrar can also perform other functions to assist the heron's allies, which are progressively unlocked as the user gain more levels.

Radiant Dawn galdrar access
Level | Galdr | Effect |
---|---|---|
1 | Vigor (Japanese: 再動 Re-Move) |
Refreshes adjacent allies, allowing them to move again if they have already moved. |
15 | Bliss (Japanese: 喜樂 Bliss) |
Raises adjacent allies' biorhythm to its highest point. |
15 | Sorrow (Japanese: 哀憐 Sorrow) |
Lowers adjacent enemies' biorhythm to its lowest point. |
30 | Valor (Japanese: 勇武 Valiant) |
100% fills the transform gauge of adjacent ally laguz units. |
40 | Recovery (Japanese: 快癒 Full Recover) |
Fully restores adjacent allies' HP and cures their status conditions. |
Furthermore, each of the three herons in Radiant Dawn has their galdrar affect a different number of allies at a time. In Reyson's case, the number of allies he can perform a galdr on at time depends on whether or not he is shifted.
- Rafiel: Four adjacent allies (transformed and untransformed)
- Leanne: Two adjacent allies; one in front, one behind (transformed and untransformed)
- Reyson: One adjacent ally (untransformed), four adjacent allies (transformed)

Fire Emblem Cipher
Galdrar is present as a skill on one card in Fire Emblem Cipher: B03-045R Prince of Serenes, Reyson. It is a manual-activation skill which, for the cost of flipping two bond cards and tapping Reyson to expend his turn, allows the player to untap one unit who has already moved, allowing them another turn. It behaves identically to the Dance skill present on Phina and Olivia's cards, except that if the unit Galdrar is used on is not a fang-wielding unit, then Galdrar also inflicts a -10 attack penalty on them.

Trivia
- In Path of Radiance, it is possible to remove this skill from Reyson; doing so would permanently eliminate his unique utility and cannot be recovered. This is not possible in Radiant Dawn, where the Galdrar skill is an innate ability of the Heron class which cannot be removed.
