Defense Cantrip (Japanese: 守備の魅子 Defense Bewitchment) is a three-tiered passive type B skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Def Cantrip 1, Def Cantrip 2, and Def Cantrip 3 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Defense Cantrip skill can drop the Defense on the nearest enemy within four spaces of its user whenever using a performance skill; the size of the Defense drop increases with the skill's tier.
