Defense/Resistance Gap (Japanese: 守備魔防の大開放 Great Defense/Resistance Opening) is a three-tiered passive type C skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Def/Res Gap 1, Def/Res Gap 2 and Def/Res Gap 3 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Def/Res Gap skill will boost the Defense and Resistance of the ally whose combined total in the two stats is the highest; the Defense and Resistance boosts increase with the skill's tier.
