The Dark Flier (Japanese: ダークペガサス Dark Pegasus) is a class which debuted in Fire Emblem Awakening, and appears there and in Three Houses; it is a female-only flying class, and the first of few flying classes able to utilize offensive magic. In Awakening, it is an advanced class and one of two class change options for the Pegasus Knight, it gains the use of tomes along with lances. In Three Houses, it is a special class—comparable to an advanced class—capable of flying and using magic. It was introduced to Three Houses as downloadable content, part of the Cindered Shadows side story, and becomes available in the main story after completing the first chapter of this side story.
