The Dark Falcon (Japanese: ダークファルコン Dark Falcon) or Dark Flier (Japanese: ダークペガサス Dark Pegasus) is a flying class which debuted in Fire Emblem Awakening. In Awakening, it is a female-only advanced class and one of two class change options for the Pegasus Knight, it gains the use of magic along with lances. It is the first flying class in the Fire Emblem series to wield offensive magic. In Fates, the Dark Falcon is instead a gender-inspecific special class unattached to a class change tree, associated with Nohr despite its usage of a pegasus (which would otherwise suggest a Hoshidan origin), otherwise largely similar to its Awakening incarnation.
