The icon of colorless tomes in Heroes.

The colorless tome is a type of weapon skill appearing in Fire Emblem Heroes; it is one of four subsets of the game's representation of the tome weapon type. Colorless tomes are outside the weapon triangle and thus do not gain an inherent advantage or disadvantage against any other weapon type.

Colorless tomes were introduced in the Bramimond: The Enigma Mythic Hero update, notably as the first weapon type not part of the game at its initial launch that is not inheritable across colors with another weapon type (in the vein of breath).

List of colorless tomes

If a weapon does not have any marks next to it, it is a weapon thus far exclusive to Heroes and has yet to appear in the main Fire Emblem series.
Due to the nature of Heroes as a game that is constantly updated adding new elements with each update, new colorless tomes may be added to the game with any given update and thus may render this list incomplete at any given time.

Trivia

  • Colorless tomes are the first weapon type actually added to the game alongside a Legendary or Mythic Hero update; although other non-launch weapon types had Legendary Heroes as their first wielders (i.e. the Legendary variation of female Robin being the first colorless breath wielder), those weapon types were added to the game in full in updates prior to those units' own additions to the game.
    • Despite this, the colorless tome icon beat the rest of its weapon type into the game; it was added in the earlier Twisted Reality update, but remained unused until the Bramimond Mythic Hero update.
