Guard, also known as Cancel, (Japanese: キャンセル Cancel) is a combat skill which first appeared in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. In Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, it is a personal skill equippable to any unit that, when activated, gives successful hits by its user the added ability of completely preventing the enemy from counterattacking or double attacking them afterward for the rest of the round of combat, temporarily protecting the user from the risk of being damaged by the enemy.
